From Sunday, January 11th to Saturday, January 17th, BBA students had the opportunity to participate in the week-long Screen Time Challenge, an initiative organized by SOUL. This challenge encouraged students to be more mindful about their daily device use. By tracking their screen time, they explored what would happen if they spent a little less time on their phones and a little more time connecting with the world around them. Participation was optional, but it offered students a chance to reflect on daily habits and consider small changes that could make a big difference.

The experiment produced a wide range of results. Some students were able to reduce their screen time by 70% or more, while many others achieved reductions between 10% and 50%. These numbers highlight both the challenges of stepping away from devices and the variety in how students approached technology use.

SOUL hopes that this challenge inspires students to continue thinking critically about their screen habits and find a healthier balance between technology and real world connections.
